BIOGRAPHY

The idea for this youth center was conceived by Joseph Kelada, a medical student who, in the short span of his life, became a role model for other kids by reaching out to them with positivity and encouragement to follow their dreams.

Joseph became deeply involved with the community, finding fulfillment in seeing how even small, indirect acts of kindness and support could make a meaningful impact. This experience inspired him to build something he felt genuinely connected to. He made friends with the local youth and grew alongside them, immersing himself in their language and daily lives.

After his passing, the idea he had nurtured continued to grow. In honor of his vision and the lives he touched, his friends brought the concept to life through the creation of Camp Joseph, carrying forward his dream of empowering and uplifting the next generation.
